This is our premier half day tour for any visitor to Auckland who would like a broad picture of this wonderful city! Pick your guide’s brain on anything such as schooling, property acquisition, employment opportunities or other leisure activities available in New Zealand!

On this morning tour of Auckland City, your guide will introduce you to a select few of the very many attractions in and around our beautiful ‘City of Sails’, so called for the popularity of sailing in this area, and the fact that it hosts the largest marina in the Southern Hemisphere – Westhaven. It is also true that about one in three homes in Auckland owns a boat.

Your guide will collect you from your hotel and take you for a picturesque drive along the waterfront to Mission Bay. Passing the War Memorial Museum, you will have a quick stop at the beautiful Winter Gardens within the Auckland Domain, a 75-hectare volcanic park. Travelling through the quirky suburb of Ponsonby, you guide will take you over the Harbour Bridge to Mount Victoria or North Head in Devonport where you will have stunning views of the city and Rangitoto Island, and a chance to explore this area which was once used as a military position for an expected Russian invasion in the late 1800’s. It is here that you’ll find one of Devonport’s disappearing guns, one of only a few left in the world.

On the return drive from North Shore you will again have superb views of Auckland City and Westhaven Marina, which has almost two thousand berths, before being dropped back at your hotel.
